Advanced Disposal - Waste Hauler for 2018
Advanced Disposal will serve as the waste and recycling services provider for 2018. The cost for trash, recycling, yard waste and electronics is $221.40 annually or $55.35 per quarter. The Tag a Bag option is $60.00 for the first 12 and $5.00 per tag thereafter. If you purchase tags at the Township, the cost will be $5.25. If you do not want the toter that was provided, please call Advanced Disposal at (800)-338-8971 to schedule the toter to be picked up. You may use up to 3 of your own containers if you choose not to use the provided toter. The 3 containers cannot exceed 96 gallons total. The Township's contract with Waste Management ended December 31, 2017. Advanced Disposal was the lowest bidder for the new 3 year contract.
Pick up Schedules
Advanced Disposal's Policy states that they are unable to pick up trash in receptacles belonging to another company. If you are using trash or recycling bins belonging to Waste Management, Advanced Disposal will not be able to pick them up.
Things to keep in mind regarding trash service
Trash pick up often starts early. To ensure that your garbage is picked up, it is recommended that garbage be placed curbside the night before the service day. For safety reasons, trash collectors are not permitted to cross the road to retrieve trash.
Advanced Disposal is contracted to take a Maximum of 96 Gallons of trash which is equal to one full toter. Please keep this in mind when using personal cans. They are not permitted to take additional bags unless a purchased tag is placed on each bag over the 96 gallon maximum (Available at the Township for $5.25/tag).
